What do I even say at this point. I’m kind of tired of talking. I’m just so tired of everything. But I toggle hack and forth on whether or not it is comparable to the effort put forth.

So much has happened since I last posted. But I haven’t yet decided on what I want this blog to be. Maybe I should stop worrying about defining any of this, and just let it be. I strongly desire to be thought-provoking and interesting, but my search for words has not provided any more than a checklist of events I might consider for the simple sake of posterity. I just don’t know what more there can possibly be.

I had a good idea for a holiday post, but I just wasn’t able to devote the time I needed to brood and contemplate what I may want to say. I probably had the time. But I didn’t devote any.

This holiday marked the first time in a long time that I had my whole immediate family under one roof. I wish I had gotten a picture or video or something, but it was a very special moment for me, and one of the few I will find hard to forget.

I’m really trying to stay focused in a positive mindset and feel like I’m making some true progress. I feel a bit more level-headed than I have been recently, and my vision is getting a little less foggy.

We recently started moving back into the house. We took a bunch of stuff from the trailer. I started unpacking a bunch of my things and set up some new furniture and appliances.

I’m picking back up a few creative projects, as well as some new ones. For instance, we joined a ballroom dancing class. It starts next Monday and I’m super nervous. But I’m also very excited.

I’m still going to the gym, although the weather has halted that a bit. And I am eating less, and seeing some body fat fall away. I haven’t weighed myself, but I’ve probably lost a little bit of weight. I don’t want to put too much into weight and looks, though. It’s more about feeling strong and capable again. But I am now feeling the time i lost and realizing I have got to follow up with seeing a doctor to address nagging pain.

And speaking of weather throwing a wrench into things… this happened.

We’re all safe and warm. No one was hurt, and we saved our vehicles. But we are currently in a hotel at the mercy of insurance to get everything taken care of.
